No matter how much we desire it, we will never be able to be more perfect than nature.
In a way that we cannot control, nature brings its own characteristics to each detail. This applies to smells, tones, textures and shapes. And we respect it. Our “essentials” collection follow some design “guidelines” that we have created in these past two decades. However, these designs take advantage of natural shapes and veins.
The result is that we can follow a concept, but we have to be very open to what nature give us in that specific piece just like a new life being generated in a mother’s womb: It will follow the lines of the parents, but we do not have control over determining the profile, the eye color, the skin texture. We just have to admire.

Aimara
by Cristiano Valle: The Aimara Coffee Table was created in 2005, taking its inspiration from the meaning of its name, “small tree”, seeking to use logs with holes to give a function to the piece. Glass was added in the natural outline of the piece to give an unusual appearance and helped to work with wood that was previously discarded due to the holes and low utilization in the timber industry.
Angatu
by Cristiano Valle: The Angatu Coffee Table was created in 2011, and the name Angatu, in tupi, means good happiness and well-being. It came with the proposal to make use of material that was previously practically discarded. The table is made from a section of a trunk, using the outer bark and the inner part of the tree, which presents holes and interesting organic designs. To increase the depth and transparency of the piece, an L-shaped glass was used.
Araruama
by Cristiano Valle: The Araruama Coffee Table was created in 2016 and its name, in tupi, means “land of parrots, macaws”. The inspiration for this design was a pouf, and the objective was to play with the wood, creating the feeling that the table is settling like a pouf. It has had a good acceptance among customers.
Amari
by Cristiano Valle: The Amary coffe table was created in 2011, and its name, in Tupi, means a species of tree. It is made from a tree fork cut, where the tree forks, creating a unique and unusual design. The table has an organic edge around the whole edge, and the wood grains in the middle of the junction of the two trunks create an interesting and wonderful design.
Irati
by Cristiano Valle: The Irati coffee table was created in 2010, and its name comes from Tupi, where “Irati” means “Honey River”. It was designed with the goal of creating a light and functional piece, dividing it into four parts and using wheels so that each section can be moved.
Manauara
by Cristiano Valle: The Manauara coffee table was also created in 2010, and its name comes from Tupi, where “Manauara” means “originating from the region of the mother of the gods,” honoring the people of Manaus. It was designed from a crosssection of a trunk, highlighting the designs of the rings and veins of the wood, each line representing a year of the tree’s life.
Pará
The Pará coffee table was created in 2004 and its name comes from Tupi, meaning “large river sea”. The proposal of this piece is to use a rough trunk and preserve its veins. For this, a geometric and parallelepiped cut is made, which makes the table an elegant and refined piece, perfect for interior decoration of houses.
Amari
by Arthur Casas: The Xará Coffee Table was created in 2018 and its name, Xará, comes from the tupi and means “that has a name equal to mine”. It is a variation of the Manauara Coffee Table, with a thickness of 10cm and cylindrical metal legs. The design was conceived to be composed of three pieces together and was created by designer Arthur Casas.
Puã
by Cristiano Valle: The Puã Coffee Table was created in 2010, its name comes from the tupi and means “round curve”. Its inspiration came from the shape of a third of an orange, where a geometric cut is made in a trunk, highlighting the rings of the wood and the veins generally in the middle of the table, creating a combination between the natural and the refined.
Rondônia
The Rondônia Coffee Table was created in 2010, honoring the state of Rondônia. It is made with a more raw trunk, preserving the organic sides and highlighting the characteristic veins of the wood. This combination between the smooth surface and the veins in the middle of the table creates a unique and interesting effect.

Eçaí

“The Eçaí coffee table was created in 2003, and the name comes from Tupi Guarani, which means “smiling, joyful, small eye”. The piece is an extremely hollow trunk with a glass inserted on the surface and a recess to fit on the surface, resembling an eye. This was the inspiration for the name and product Eçaí.

by Cristiano Valle: The Manauara Yssaí dining table was designed based on the culture and nature of the Amazon region. The name Manauara comes from the Tupi language and means “originating from the region of the mother of the gods,” while the name Yssaí refers to a typical fruit of the region. This table is inspired by the traditional Manauara table, but has delicate cylindrical metal legs, giving the impression of floating. It is round and has the natural edge of the wood bark, some of them have a hole in the middle, which allows you to place decorative items, such as a Champagne bucket or vase of flowers. It is an interesting and innovative option for the decoration of your home.

The inspiration for this dining table is the joint of two planks, in which the table is composed of two planks that are ordered together. Legs were also added made of metal or wood.

The double Caturama is a modification of the original design, the triple Caturama, made to meet the needs of people who wanted a version with fewer boards. The first design of the Caturama series was made in 2010.

Tupana
by Cristiano Valle: The Tupana Console was created in 2016 and its name comes from the tupi, meaning “God of the Indians”. It is a piece that resembles the Pará coffee table, but placed vertically, standing perfectly behind a sofa or on the wall, serving as a console for decorative objects.
Potar
by Cristiano Valle: The Potar Console, created in 2010, also has its name originated from tupi, meaning “desire” or “want”. It is a variation of the Guaçu console, where the board used has organic characteristics, with holes and irregular edges, creating a unique texture.

Guapig
by Cristiano Valle: The Guapig Bench, created in 2007, takes its inspiration from twisted and natural curves, seeking to make use of them to shape the bench. Its hollowed shape and concave or convex curves aim to reproduce the natural state of the forest with minimal intervention possible.
Iguatemi
The Iguatemi Bench was created in 2004 and its name, in tupi guarani, means “River of Canoes”. The objective of this design is
to preserve the essence of the wooden log as much as possible, using only one trunk to form the seating surface.
Guaraquessaba
The Guaraquessaba Bench was created in 2006 and its name comes from the tupi, meaning “place of guará”. It is linear and was created from a log with geometric design.

Porã
by Cristiano Valle: The Porã table was created in 2011, and the name comes from Tupi Guarani, which means “beautiful, lovely”. The idea was to create a curved table as if the wood were curved. As Amazonian wood is very strong and hard, it cannot be bent. So, the cut was made imitating the curve, inspired by the indigenous people who bent canoes by setting fire to the wood.

Kaá
by Cristiano Valle: The Kaá Side Table was designed in 2010, with the name from the Tupi, meaning “forest, leaves.” The idea is to join several pieces, each with a different height, like trees in a forest, having a delicate metal leg and wooden disks as if they were the tree tops. It was created for a Globo novela where innovative furniture was requested.
