Aimara Coffee Table

The Aimara Coffee Table was created in 2005. Inspired by the meaning of its name in Tupi Guarani**, “small tree,” we take advantage of the holes in the logs to give the table a different function. For the Aimara, we work with wood that was previously discarded due to these holes and the low yield it represents for the timber industry. We added glass, cut to the natural outline of the piece, to give an unusual appearance and to help serve these new functions.
